Job Summary & Application  

The primary purpose and function of the Claims Adjuster is to investigate and process crop claims, educate and train agents and crop adjusters, and complete Risk Management Agency (RMA) compliance in accordance with Crop Pro Insurance Services' policy and government regulations. 

The ideal candidate must:

  • College degree or equivalent (agricultural related field preferred) plus a minimum of two years of field adjusting experience.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Records.
  • Meet all RMA educational and state licensing requirements.
  • Analytical, customer service, problem solving accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Be able to fully appraise all crop damage aspects.
  • Hold CAPP Certification.

Job Summary & Application  

The primary purpose and function of the Business Development Manager is the development of local, independent insurance agents including agency recruiting, agency training, and overall agency success. Intensive interaction with prospective and contracted independent insurance producers required.

The ideal candidate must:

  • College degree or equivalent preferred plus minimum of 4+ years work experience with a proven track record in an Ag related company or organization.
  • Crop License preferred in all states within sales territory.
  • A valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Records.
  • Demonstrated success in a sales role; a strong record of achievement and a proven ability to achieve results in the crop insurance market.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas, trends, technical details, and sales techniques.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office products, and efficient in email and internet applications.
  • Keep up-to-date regarding current state and federal compliance regulations that affect crop insurance and FCIC/RMA guidelines.
  • Familiar with local farm practices and crops in all regions where policies are written.
  • Handle multiple projects and have solid training, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in a sales role; a strong record of achievement and a proven ability to achieve results in the crop insurance market.

Job Summary & Application  

The primary purpose and function of Underwriting is to ensure that agent support in sales and service is provided on the Crop Pro Insurance Services Inc. Processing System for Crop Hail (CH) and Multiple Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI) along with verifying that policy information is underwritten in accordance with Governmental and Crop Pro Insurance Services, Inc. established rates, rules and guidelines, and acceptable company standards and procedures are followed. 

The ideal candidate must:

  • College degree or equivalent required (agricultural related field preferred) plus minimum four years of related work experience.
  • A valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Records.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas, trends, technical details, and underwriting techniques  . 
  • Extensive policy experience and knowledge of procedures.
  • Math, problem solving, instruction, organization, and training skills necessary.
  • Crop insurance processing experience.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office products, and efficient in email and internet applications
